Austrian pro Josip Simunic has just been knocked out by Romanian Dany Parlafes. Simunic, who won the €10k High Roller at EPT Deauville got his chips into the middle holding pocket tens against Parlafes’ ace-queen.
The action started on Erich Kollmann who raised and Simunic moved all in from the small blind for about 6,000 and Parlafes four-bet from the big blind after which Kollmann folded.
Parlafes managed to hit an ace and that sent Simunic to the rail empty-handed. Parlafes now had around 45,000 chips.
