Paul Gresel Eliminated by Jorn Walthaus

Currently Paul Gresel is the only player to have cashed in MonteDam Swing qualifying events in both Monte Carlo and in Amsterdam. After cashing the PokerStars Championship Monte Carlo Main Event in 80th place for €9,540, he headed to Amsterdam where he took 18th place in the WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam for €4,475.

However in a hand against Jorn Walthaus, his Main Event run here in the Dutch capital came to an end.

Gresel opened to 1,800 and Walthaus three-bet to 5,200. THe flop came and Gresel check-called a bet of 7,500 from his opponent. The turn was the Gresel called another bet from Walthaus.

The river was the and Gresel checked for a third time. Walthaus moved all in and Gresel called. Walthaus showed and the dealer mucked Gresel’s cards before they could be turned over.
