Erica Schoenberg is the last woman standing, and the only woman who survived to Day 3 of the WPT Legends of Poker.
Joe Hachem, Ali Eslami, and Amit Makhija are among the first few bustouts after the money bubble burst. Of course, IDs must be shown and paperwork must be filled out before they can collect their earnings.
Erica Schoenberg doubled through Ben Keiley after flopping an ace with her A-K. The money bubble had just burst, and Schoenberg was sitting pretty (and prettily) with 790,000 in chips (158 big blinds). Unfortunately, Schoenberg would bust out in 30th place, earning $11,500.
The final two tables, during the last level of Day 3.
Season VI WPT Player of the Year Jonathan Little was chipleader for a while late in the day, and finished second in chips with 1,314,000 (109 big blinds). With 15 players remaining, Little is attempting to win his third WPT title, which would tie him for the career record with Gus Hansen and Carlos Mortensen.
Andrew Frankenberger finished Day 3 as the chipleader with 1,958,000 (163 big blinds).
When play ended shortly after 11:00 pm PT, it was time for the final 15 players to bag and tag their chips. Play resumes tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Bicycle Casino at 1:00 pm PT, and will continue until there are six players left for Wednesday’s televised WPT final table.
