After Gabe Kaplan’s elimination in 15th place, Tyler Smith (standing, left) was all in preflop with [AsKh] against the [QcQd] of Vivek Rajkumar (center, right). The board came [Jh6s3c3d6d], and Rajkumar won the pot with his pocket queens to eliminate Smith in 14th place.
There was a three-way preflop all-in between Gregory Brooks (top left), Randy Dorfman (top center), and Dan Shak (to the right, not pictured). Shak had [AcAs] to Brooks’ [KcKs] to Dorfman’s [QcQd].
The board came [Jd9d7d5s4s], and the pocket aces held up for Shak to triple up, crippling Brooks in the process.
Tripling up with pocket aces wasn’t enough to save Dan Shak (right), who was eliminated a short while later by the King of the High-Roller Tournaments, Erik Seidel (left).
With the board showing [Jh8d3d2c3h] on the river, Shak moved all in with [Js9d] (two pair, jacks and threes), but Seidel called with [QdQh] (queens and threes) to win the pot. Dan Shak was eliminated in 11th place.
