We just witnessed aces get cracked on two different tables in close succession.
In one instance Je Wook Oh (pictured just below) had his beaten by an Ben Foster’s when the board brought two kings among the five community cards, knocking Oh back to a short stack.
Then it was D.J. Alexander (pictured below) using to top Guy Smith’s . In that case the money — 92,800 chips’ worth — went in on a flop and Smith was still in front after the turn. But the river filled Alexander’s straight.
Down to a super-short stack, Smith was eliminated shortly thereafter.
