Puzich Takes an Early Hit

In a three-way limped pot to the Heart ADiamond 9Club 3 flop, it was checked to Parham Ahoor and he bet 225, picking up a single caller. The Club 8 on the turn was checked through, while Ahoor bet the Spade 4 river. His opponent called and Ahoor tabled Spade QSpade 9 for a pair of nines to win the pot.

Soon after, Mathias Puzich (pictured) raised to 250 on the button and was called by Ahoor in the small blind. Jonathan Alley in the big blind three-bet to 825 and Puzich called, as did Ahoor. The flop fell Heart JDiamond 7Club 7 and Ahoor checked, Alley continued for 1,500 and both opponents called.

On the Heart 6 turn, the trio checked before the Diamond 5 on the river brought a check by Ahoor and a bet of 3,600 by Alley. Only Puzich called and tapped the table when Alley tabled Club KDiamond K for kings and sevens.
