Welcome back to The Gardens Casino in Hawaiian Gardens, California, for Day 2 of the Season XVIII WPT Gardens Poker Championship.
Over two starting flights, a total of 198 entrants took to the felt, and after eight levels on play on each day, just 110 players return for Day 2 action where registration remain open until the beginning of Level 11; approximately 3:30 p.m. (PT).
Leading the 110 players is Golden Globe nominee and WPT regular Randall Emmett who finished with 240,900 on Day 1A. Rounding out the top five chip counts are Cole Sudeck (199,500), WPT Champions Club member Jordan Cristos (198,400), David Lambard (197,600), and Sebastiaan de Jonge (194,300).
Players still in contention include WPT Champions Club members Darren Elias (151,700), Anthony Zinno (138,300), Brian Altman (109,700), David “ODB” Baker (103,200), James Carroll (72,000), Roger Teska (66,000), Mike Shariati (57,7000), Daniel Strelitz (50,500), Phil Laak (46,100), Larry Greenberg (43,900), Tony Dunst (26,100), and Art Papazyan (25,500), along with WPTDeepStacks champions Upeshka De Silva (157,900), Maria Ho (20,800), and Brent Roberts (20,600).

From Day 2 until the final table is reached, levels will now be 90 minutes in duration with a 15-minute break after each level. Day 2 and 3 will play five levels, while Day 4 will play down until the final six players is reached. Registration is open until the beginning of Level 11 (approximately 3:30 p.m.) where players can enter with a 40,000-chip stack at blinds of 1,000-1,500 and a 1,500-big blind ante.
