Joris Mahe is first to act and limps in under the gun for 200. His neighbor, Moundir Zoughari, raises to 700. One might think that limp in early position and raise thins out the field, but the contrary is true. The 700 raise is called by Samuel Simon Touil in the hijack position and Sebastien Kassubeck in the cutoff.
Now the action is on Romain Serge Piraux on the button and he three-bets to 3,100. The blinds get out of the way and limper Mahe instantly calls. This prompts calls from all the other players as they add 2,400 to see a flop.
The flop comes and everyone checks to Piraux who bets 8,000. Mahe folds and so does Zoughari. Touil calls and Kassubeck folds.
It’s heads-up to the turn as the hits. Touil checks and Piraux bets 15,000. Touil wastes little time shoving for 26,900. While Piraux doesn’t seem overly excited to call, he does so reluctantly anyway.

Some players at the table frown, surprised by the showdown. Some more frowns are seen and now some sighs are heard as the completes the board to gift Touil the better two pair resulting in his double up.
Piraux just leans back in frustration as he parts ways with the better part of his stack.
Simon Touil – 85,800
Romain Serge Piraux – 14,000
