There are three players all in after a flop of Club JSpade 7Spade 5 — the small blind, Reuben Hoang (UTG+1), the cutoff. But the betting isn’t over yet, as actor James Woods is tanking on the button.

Woods eventually folds, claiming jack-ten, and the other three turn over their cards.

Reuben Hoang:  Spade ASpade J  (pair of jacks, ace-high flush draw)
Small Blind:  Diamond KDiamond J  (pair of jacks, lower kicker)
Cutoff:  Spade KSpade 8  (king-high flush draw)

Woods made the correct fold, as he would have been drawing to a single out to win the pot. As the dealer is putting out the turn card, Woods says, “Why don’t you put out the ten of diamonds so I can kill myself?”

The turn card is the Diamond 10.

Woods reacts loudly as several other players laugh, and the river card is the Diamond 6. The pair of jacks with an ace kicker holds up for Hoang to win the entire pot, eliminating two players as he takes the chip lead. Of course, if Woods had made the (incorrect) call, he would have sucked out on the turn to quadruple his chip stack.
