Day 1B comes to an end with about 175 survivors from a Day 1B field of 383 entries, and Reuben Hoang leads the pack with 232,300 (194 big blinds). Reigning WPT Legends of Poker champion Mike Shariati finished among the leaders with 145,000 (121 big blinds) as he attempts to defend his title.

A scan of the field at the end of the day turned up this unofficial top five leaderboard:

1.  Reuben Hoang  –  232,300  (194 bb)
2.  Danny Geyser  –  190,100  (158 bb)
3.  Shantha Ruwanpura  –  180,800  (151 bb)
4.  Mike Shariati  –  145,000  (121 bb)
5.  James Mackey  –  128,900  (107 bb)

The official chip counts and seating assignments for Day 2 won’t be released until tomorrow morning.

The field size is up to a total of 629, but players are still allowed one final entry before Day 2 begins tomorrow. Those last-minute players will start with 30,000 in chips at 600-1,200 blinds (25 big blinds). If any players bagged up chips on both starting days, only their largest stack will carry forward to Day 2.

Day 2 begins tomorrow (Monday) at 12:00 pm PT. Return to WPT.com for continuing live coverage of the WPT Legends of Poker.
