WPT Champions Club member Roberto Romanello loves his poker. The Montesino is hosting a 48-hour cash game alongside the WPT Vienna Main Event and the Welshman had a seat in that game until 05.00 this morning! Luckily for him his €25,000 win probably resulted in a much easier micro sleep before he started his Day 2 shenanigans. Here is the maestro winning a pot from Jan-Peter Jachtmann.
Romanello raises to 2,200 in first position and Jachtmann calls in late position. The flop is [7c] [2c] [2h] and Jachtmann calls a 3,200 Romanello bet. The turn card is the [Td] and it prompts Romanello to fire a second barrel of 9,500 and once again Jachtmann calls. Finally we see the [6c] and Jachtmann pays Romanello for a third time; this time the amount is 13,000 and Romanello shows [Kc] [Kh] for the win.
Romanello ~ 110,000
Jachtmann ~ 152,000
