Ryan D'Angelo Eliminated by Andrey Plotnikov

A player raises UTG+1 to 9,500, Andrey Plotnikov reraises from the small blind to 26,200, and Ryan D’Angelo moves all in from the big blind for 76,700.

The UTG+1 player goes into the tank, spending most of his time focused on D’Angelo. At one point, he looks at Plotnikov and says, “I know you’re just trying to make a move on me, so I’m not worried about you.”

Eventually, the UTG+1 player folds, and Plotnikov quickly calls with . D’Angelo turns over , and needs to improve to stay alive. The UTG+1 player swears that he folded pocket queens.

The board comes — Ryan turns a gutshot straight draw, but improves no further. Plotnikov wins the pot with his pocket aces to eliminate D’Angelo from the tournament.

After the hand, another player points to the pocket aces and says to the UTG+1 player, “Nice read on him.”
