Ryan Fair Eliminated By Daryl Jace in Massive Pot

Apr 20, 2012

We missed the hand, but the players at the table filled us in on how Daryl Jace knocked out two players in one hand and moved past the 400,000 mark.

According to the table, the player under the gun moved all-in for 18,000 and Ryan Fair reraised all-in for a little over 100,000 behind him.  Action folded around to Jace in late position and, as the players at the table tell it, Jace did not realize Fair was all-in and only put out the chips to call the first all-in’s bet.  When the dealer points out that it is substantially more to call, Jace had to decide whether or not to put in the additional chips.

Jace called with pocket nines, which has the shortest stack’s pocket threes beat and was racing with Fair’s A-K.  The board brought no help for Fair or the all-in player and Jace knocked out both players to take the big pot.
