Ryan Franklin Collects Matt Salsberg's Bounty

Matt Salsberg, down to less than 10,000, opens with a 2x raise to 1,000 from the button, then sees Ryan Franklin in the next seat over reraise to 2,500 from the small blind. The big blind calls the reraise, and after pausing a few beats Salsberg calls as well.

The flop comes [2s][6h][9c]. Franklin leads for 2,800, the big blind folds, and Salsberg calls. The turn brings the [10c] and Franklin swiftly sets out a few gray (5,000) chips — way more than the few thousand Salsberg has left. 

After a short spell in the tank, Salsberg calls and shows [8s][6s] for middle pair. He’s behind Franklin’s [10h][7h] for top pair of tens, and after the [5h] river Salsberg is out and Franklin has earned an extra $2,500.
