Ryan Van Sanford Check-Raises the Turn

WPT Champions Club member Ryan Van Sanford is in a heads-up pot with around 6,500 in the middle and a board reading . He checks from the hijack and his opponent bets 3,600 on the button.

Van Sanford puts in a check-raise to 10,000, sending his opponent into the tank for close to a minute as he studies Van Sanford. A chip is on top of the player’s cards to protect them, which he takes off and slides the cards forward along the felt to earn Van Sanford the pot.
