Sayegh Gets Involved

It’s not often that Pierre Sayegh gets involved in a pot. In fact, this is the first time his name has been in the pages of this blog over the past four days. Perhaps, this is one of the reasons he just got so much respect.

Andrei Nikonov opens to 24,000 in early position, Max Droege keeps the heat going with a three-bet to 57,000 in the hijack and Sayegh moves all-in for 218,000 on the button. Nikonov is the piggy-in-the-middle, ponders it for a while and then folds; Droege quickly follows suit.
