Gabriel Birlean acts first, in early position, by opening to 4,400. It initially seems like nobody wants to play with him until Bodo Sbrzensy calls from the big blind.
The [Jc][9c][6s] is wetter than an otter’s pocket and it is no surprise that neither player bets. The [8d] turn puts more wetness out there and Sbrzensy tries his luck with a 6,200 bet. His luck is in because Birlean quickly folds and Sbrzensy climbs to 331,000 chips.
