Scheidt and Blain Clash Again

There is a raise to 250 from Dermot Blain who is seated under the gun. Carmelo Romeo is to Blain’s direct left and he calls, but when the action passes to Erik Schedit in the hijack seat he squeezes to 900. Only Blain calls and it is heads-up to the [5c][Th][Kd] flop.

Blain taps the table and checks to his sole opponent. Scheidt pauses for a few moments before continuing with a bet of 1,200. Blain calls this bet and the dealer puts the [Jc] onto the table. Blain checks again but a rapidly chewing Scheidt pauses for the count of 30 before setting the price to play at 2,400. Blain has seen enough and he instantly releases his hand.
