I’ve been involved in four pots so far. I won two and lost two.
I raised on the button and Tom Schneider came over the top of me so I folded. Then two hands later I raised Dan Harrington’s blind with two Kings but he folded.
Then later in the big blind I called Harrington’s raise with Q 10 and I flopped a Broadway straight. I checked to him thinking he’d have to continuation bet into a short stack, but he checked behind. The turn paired Kings and I led for 40,000 which took it down. Then I got involved in another pot with David Pham where I airballed the board and layed it down.
My strategy has pretty much been to keep enough chips for some fold equity and breathing room.
My prediction is that by the end of this level I will have a very healthy stack or be out.
