Well, I just busted in 12th place. Good for almost $60k. I got really short and had to make a move with A-7. Unfortunately, Billy Pilossoph woke up with A-K and I’m out.
I’m obviously disappointed I didn’t go deeper, but I have to be happy with my performance. I never really had any monster hands or situations where I could really play my game, so to last this long is quite the accomplishment. At one point on day 1, I had 80% of my stack in the pot and folded to a higher straight. I could’ve been out right there, had my reads not been as sharp as they were.
Up next for me is Biloxi, MS or maybe London. We’ll have to see what happens in the next week or so. Thanks for following along.
