Season VII WPT Winners Still Alive

There are four WPT winners from earlier this season still alive in this tournament, trying to become the first since Tuan Le in Season III to parlay their earlier victory into a WPT Championship. 

As we’ll see in an upcoming post, these four players would also tie John Phan in the WPT Player of the Year race with a fourth-place or higher finish. 

WPT Bellagio Festa al Lago  –  Elky Grospellier 
WPT Celebrity Invitational  –  Freddy Deeb
WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star  –  Steve Brecher
WPT Foxwoods Poker Classic  –  Vadim Trincher

Trincher is also attempting to become the first player to win consecutive WPT titles in back-to-back tournaments.
