Seventhbok! Ali Nejad Eliminated in 7th Place

Tom Hall raises to 400,000, and the action folds to Ali Nejad, who is short stacked. As Nejad thinks, J.J. Tavares quietly chants, "Seventhbok … seventhbok …" Nejad moves all in for 430,000, and Hall calls with [5c5d]. Nejad shows [As10h], and he’ll need to improve to stay alive. 

The board comes [9c8d6c4sQs], and Tom Hall wins the pot with his pocket fives. As TD Matt Savage announces the river card, he calls the seventh place finish a "Seventhbok." That slang term was created for Joe Sebok, who twice bubbled WPT final tables without ever reaching one. (Vanessa Rousso is the only other player in that club, and she just joined a month and a half ago in Biloxi.)
