Shallow Speeds Things

At the moment the only thing fast about the preliminary final table is Dave Shallow. He seems to have picked up on everybody’s willingness to play like statues and has decided to up the pace.

Shaun Conning raises to 65,000 in the cutoff and Patrik Vestlin three-bets to 150,000 on the button. Charles Chattha folds the small blind before Dave Shallow moves in with a 310,000 four-bet. Conning and Vestlin both fold their hands quite quickly.

"Nice bluff Dave, show us one card," says Stevie Watts.

Dave Shallow allows them to pick up one card and it is the [2d].

Next Steve Watts raises to 70,000 and Shallow puts him in his place with a three-bet before raising in the third hand and taking down the blinds and antes.
