Shaun Conning Becomes The Chip Leader

Shaun Conning spent a large part of yesterday as our chip leader and we were just about to interview him when he lost a 90,000 pot! His mood changed, as did his place on the leader board, and the interview was postponed. It is time to dust of that camera and bring Conning back into the spotlight because he is once again our chip leader in a pot that can only be described as a cooler.

On a board of [Ax] [Jx] [xx] [Jx] [xx] Conning held [Ax] [Ax] and O’Reilly held [Ax] [Jx]. Conning over bet the 18,000 river for 25,000 hoping to gain value from a Jack and O’ Reilly moved all-in for 65,000. Conning called and he now has 220,000 chips and the poor unfortunate O’ Reilly is out with nothing but a bad beat story for company.
