Sheraz Nasir Doubles Thru Samuel Chartier

Nov 25, 2014

Jonathan Jaffe raises from the cutoff to 95,000, and Sheraz Nasir thinks for a short while before folding his big blind with only four big blinds left in his stack.

Jaffe shows 5diamond5heart as he collects the pot.

Sheraz Nasir  –  160,000  (4 bb)

The next hand, Alexandre Blanc min-raises from the cutoff to 80,000, Sheraz Nasir moves all in from the small blind for 155,000, and Samuel Chartier moves all in over the top from the big blind, covering both players. Blanc quickly folds, claiming he had ace-deuce.

Nasir turns over Adiamond6heart, and he needs to improve to stay alive against Chartier’s 5diamond5spade.

The board comes Aclub2diamond2heart8heart3heart, and Nasir wins the pot with two pair, aces and deuces, to double up in chips. (Blanc shouts his regret when he sees the flop would have given him a full house to more than double up.)

Sheraz Nasir  –  420,000  (10 bb)
Alexandre Blanc  –  635,000  (15 bb)
Samuel Chartier  –  2,940,000  (73 bb)
