Andrey Pateychuk raises to 240,000 on the button and Stanislaw Kretz moves all in from the small blind for nearly 2 million chips. Pateychuk thought for at least 3 minutes before making the call and we had a showdown with Kretz at risk of elimination.
Pateychuk – [Ah] [6d]
Kretz – [9h] [9c]
So Pateychuk needed some luck to eliminate Kretz, but as we all know Pateychuk is unstoppable lately. The flop of [Kc] [Ts] [2d] is a good one for the hand of Kretz. The turn of [8c] means there is only one more card for Kretz to dodge. The dealer turns the [As] over and nobody seems surprised! Pateychuk once again finds the card he needs to move forward in this competition. This guy just does not believe he can lose an all-in confrontation! Kretz who dominated yesterdays play leaves us in third place and we are heads up.
Andrey Pateychuk – 8,004,000
Adria Balaguer – 7,800,000
