Stefan Leenen Catches a Miracle

Michel Leibgorin just took his seat at a new table and opened to 2,000 under the gun first hand. “Welcome to the table,” another player says. 

Stefan Leenen calls in early position, while the small blind three-bets to 8,500. Leibgorin folds, but Leenen calls.

The flop comes and the small blind bets 2,500. Leenen then moves all in and the small blind snap-calls for around 40,000.

The small blind is far ahead with top pair, king-kicker and the nut flush draw, but Leenen catches the on the turn to make two pair. The river is the and the massive pot is sent to Leenen, while the small blind stops to take a picture of the board before heading for the rail.
