Sterling Savill Doubles Thru Peter Fellows

Dec 1, 2024

Peter Fellows raises from middle position to 45,000, and Sterling Savill reraises from the button to 150,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Fellows moves all in for about 400,000.

Savill informs the table that he has pocket aces without being too explicit about it, but uses a Time Chip or two to stall for a while before he calls all in for 155,000 with Diamond AClub A.

Fellows turns over Spade ADiamond K, and Savill needs his aces to hold to stay alive.

The board comes Spade QSpade JDiamond 3Diamond 5Heart 6, and the aces hold up for Savill to win the pot and double up in chips.

Matthew Wantman says, “Make sure to put in there that he slow-rolled with aces.”

Jason Mercier asks, “Where’s the justice?”
