Steve O'Dwyer Likely Back to Registration Desk Soon Thanks to Sun Guodong

What started as an innocent enough looking pot escalated quickly as Sun Guodong raises to 2,600 on the button and gets called by Steve O’Dwyer in the big blind.

The players check to the river, leading to a completed board of which O’Dwyer bets 3,500 on. After Guodong raises to 12,200, O’Dwyer takes a moment and then moves all in for Guodong’s 86,400 total chips. 

Guodong quickly calls and the hands are revealed.

O’Dwyer shows for a flopped top pair, while Guodong shows for a turned and superior top pair to take down the sizeable pot.

O’Dwyer was left with crumbs after the hand and will have some rebuilding to do either from his crumbs, or a fresh 100,000 chip stack if he busts and re-enters.
