Sundar Doubles Thru Engel on the Bubble

Ravee “Om” Mathi Sundar raises to 10,500 from middle position, Ari Engel three-bets to 33,500 from the button, and Sundar four-bets to 93,500.

Engel goes into the tank for about two minutes.

“Aces? Really?” asks Engel. After a little while longer, Engel five-bets all in.

Now it’s Sundar’s turn in the tank.

“I’m not playing for 45th place, man,” says Sundar.

“You’re crushed, but it’s up to Diana (the dealer) what happens,” says Engel.

“I’ll gamble,” says Sundar as he calls all in for 210,500 with AK. Engel turns over — J5.

The board comes 8443K, and Sundar wins the pot with two pair, kings and fours, to double up on the money bubble.

“Nice hand. I got lucky,” says Sundar. “Very nice hand. Monster hand.”
