Sunny Chen Wins the LIPS U.S. Ladies' Poker Championship

While the WPT Legends of Poker continues playing here on Day 3, the LIPS U.S. Ladies’ Poker Championship played out its final table earlier today.

The winner was Sunny Chen (pictured above), who outlasted a field of 170 players to take down the title, the trophy, and $12,785.

But that’s not all. Chen will also fill the sixth and final seat in Thursday’s WPT Foundation Ladies’ Night Invitational. It’s a televised WPT event, with six women playing on behalf of six different charities.

Chen will be playing alongside Lily Kiletto (who is still in the WPT Legends of Poker with 32 players remaining), Vanessa Rousso, Liz Lieu, Jessica Dawley, and WPT Anchor Kimberly Lansing.
