Leon Li-ta Hsu (Team Taiwan SAR) raises from middle position to 11,000, Danny Tang (Team Hong Kong SAR) reraises from the button to 28,000, and Hsu thinks for about nine seconds before he uses one of his two Team Timeouts.

Hsu steps away from the table to discuss the situation with his teammates for two minutes with the 30-second Action Clock paused. Other players are not allowed to leave the table during this time (whether or not they have an active hand), so they can’t “piggyback” on another team’s timeout.

At the end of his Team Timeout, Hsu returns to the table and says, “My teammates told me to give you a chance.” Hsu folds, and Tang takes the pot for Team Hong Kong.

When players ask him to show his cards, Tang smiles, mucks, and says, “Two-three.”
