Texier Five-Bets, Lecomte Folds Big

Jean-Michel Texier raised to 2,000 from under the gun. Deborah Nizard three-bet to 4,500 from the cutoff, Quentin Lecomte four-bet to 9,500 on the button and the blinds folded.

Texier wasn’t done yet and put in a five-bet to 18,200. Nizard quickly folded, Lecomte needed two minutes to come to the same decision and folded with a pained look on his face. Texier showed  and Lecomte frantically reached for the muck to retrieve his two “dame noirs” (black queens).

He wasn’t able to find them but given the action, we trust him on this one. Lecomte had 40,000 after the hand, Nizard 155,000 and Texier rose to 100,000.
