On a board reading , Mark Sloane leads out for 10,500, and his opponent in the cutoff goes all in for 17,000. Sloane thinks about it for a moment and eventually calls.
The cutoff says, “I’ve got kings”, and Sloane responds, “Kings are good.” The cutoff tables , and as Sloane is turning over , the hits the river and he says, “Kings were good until that (the ace) came.”
Sloane rivers a pair of aces and sends his opponent to the rail.
