The Cardiff School of Acting: Nock Doubles Up

Jeremy Nock raises to 80,000 in the cutoff and is soon subjected to a three-bet from Giacomo Fundaro on the button.  Nock goes into the tank.

"Maybe this is the hand huh?" Says Nock after 30 seconds, "I am all-in," he mutters very quietly.

Fundaro calls and Nock fist pumps the air before turning over pocket aces. Fundaro has pocket eights.

"Give me an ace on the flop please dealer," says Nock.

The flop is [Qc] [Tc] [5d], "A club…give me a club," says Nock.

The turn is the [4h] and Nock tries to lick his lips, but the saliva has been sucked out of his soul. The river is the [7h] and we have another fist pump. Nock has doubled up and now has over a million chips. Remember, we said this was a man on a run.
