A short-stacked Tobias Mathaessfour-bet all in for 21,000 and Stratmeyer came over the top for 70,000, a whoppin 70 big blinds. Schemion double-checked his cards just to make sure he really had it and snap-called one second later.

Schemion had the best of it and only needed to fear spades, high cards and diamonds. The board came and the diamond draw of Mathaess missed to result in a double knockout. Schemion took over the lead with 260,000 and continues with 260 big blinds in the second level of Day 2.
