The last WPT Champions Club member has just been knocked out as we lost Daniel Brits.
We caught up with Brits after his elimination and he told us how the fatal hand went down.
“I was knocked down short already,” Brits started his story, as he raised to 15,000 from late position holding ace-jack.
The player in the small blind made the call before Raymond Rahme moved all in to put pressure on both his opoonents. Brits called all in for a total of 50,000 chips and he was up against Rahme’s ace-queen.
The board brought no help and Brits hit the rail.
