The Legendary Men "The Master" Nguyen

He didn’t enter either of the first two starting flights, but legendary Vietnamese-American player Men “The Master” Nguyen is in the field here on Day 1C, looking to win a WPT title in his native country.

Nguyen is one of the most accomplished poker players in history, with more than $11 million in career earnings. He has won seven WSOP bracelets (only six players have ever won more), has been Card Player’s Player of the Year a record four times, and he has won more money in stud tournaments than anyone in history. Nguyen is also second on the all-time list for career cashes with 494 cashes, just 11 behind “Miami” John Cernuto (505 cashes).

On the World Poker Tour, Nguyen has cashed 17 times for more than $1.3 million, and he has made five WPT final tables, with his most recent coming just last year.
