The Main Event Continues as Day 1c Gets Underway Shortly

Welcome to Day 1c, the third of five starting flights in the Main Event, which begins at noon, local time.

So far there have been 148 entries from Day 1a and 1b and a total of 74 have made it through to Day 2. Denis Koprov is currently ahead of the pack after he bagged an impressive 231,500 yesterday.

Back to today though and in exchange for the ₽210,000 buy-in, players will once against start with 40,000 chips.

In addition, there are unlimited re-entries available all the way through to the close of late registration at the end of level 12 (at 4:30 pm on Day 2, tomorrow). That means unlimited opportunities to challenge for a portion of the huge ₽95,500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

On the schedule for today are eight 60-minute levels and there will be 15-minute breaks at the end of every second level (every two hours of play). That means the day is expected to wrap just before 9 pm local time.
