One of the wonderful things about poker is the luck factor. It allows people to have wonderful journeys that they could only dream about. Mbarek Saadi is having one of those journeys. It’s clear that he doesn’t play with the big boys often. But that’s ok. He’s loving every minute of it.
Saadi limps into the pot, which he tends to do. Frederic Brunet isolates him with a 16,500 raise from the cutoff. It folds back to Saadi and he can’t see the chips properly. He asks the dealer to help him and he proceeds to drip-feed the 16,500 into the pot.
Flop: [Js] [Jd] [3h]
The action is on Saadi, but he doesn’t know that. He is looking around the table to see who is involved in the hand with him. When the dealer tells him it is his turn to act he nervously checks. Brunet bets 20,000 and Saadi immediately starts placing 10k chips across the line and doesn’t seem to want to stop. Brunet folds instantly and Saadi jubilantly shows him [Ax] [Jx].
Saadi ~ 250,000
Brunet ~ 315,000
