Howard Feingold

Erik Seidel opens the action with a raise to 14,000 under the gun and action folds around to Howard Feingold in the small blind. He three-bets to 43,000, and the big blind cold four-bet jams for around 160,000. Seidel folds and Feingold announces a call as soon as it’s his turn to do so.

“Do you have aces?” says the big blind, tabling Diamond KSpade K.

“No, you got me,” responds Feingold as he turns over Heart QSpade Q.

The big blind stays ahead through the flop Club 9Spade 7Spade 2 and turn Club J, finding himself one card away from a double.

“There’s a queen in the deck!” says Feingold. A moment later, the dealer brings the river Diamond Q to improve him to a set and score the knockout.

Feingold hits the table and celebrates as the pot is sent his way: “Howie the kid said there was a queen in the deck!” He then adds an apology to the player, who acknowledges the cooler and makes his way from the tournament area.

Howard Feingold – 730,000 (121 bb)
