Third Time a Charme for El Otmani?

Houssine El Otmani

The field is consolidating before the dinner break and has grown to 246 entries thanks to more than 100 re-entries after having previously busted on Day 1A and Day 1B. Of those, 155 remain for an average of just over 47,000 and the chip leaders remain the same with one exception. Maxime Mayot has lost some chips while Francois Tosques is now the biggest stack on their table.

More notables have appeared after joining in late such as Mathieu Papineau (65,000), Slimane Mameche (55,000), and Jean Montury (23,000). Anas Tadini has slowed down and changed tables twice to remain with a decent stack of 75,000, now facing High Roller champion Henrique Pinho.

Houssine El Otmani is on his third bullet for the day and scores a triple up on a short stack. On the four-way flop of Heart KDiamond 3Club 2, El Otmani is all in for just 4,700 and gets called by Hafid Alaoui and Yassine Adib. The remaining active players check down the Club J turn and Spade J river and El Otmani turns over Spade KDiamond 9. Alaoui only has Diamond QSpade Q and Adib bricks a straight draw with the Club 6Spade 4.
