Three on the Spin for Paraschiv

Aug 9, 2012

Victor Paraschiv wins two small consecutive pots before finding himself involved in a hand with Ran Azor. Paraschiv raises to 160,000 in the cutoff and Azor defends his big blind. The flop is [Ad] [6c] [5h] and both players check. The turn is the [5c] and Azor takes the betting lead for 225,000 and Paraschiv calls. The river is the [Ts], Azor checks, Paraschiv bets 230,000 and Azor folds. This blind defending is getting very expensive for Azor who is now down to 1,500,000. Paraschiv had done excellently since he doubled up El Khoury, and now has 2,280,000 chips.
