Todd Terry Chips Up

Sep 19, 2011

Jeremy McLaughlin raises to 400 from under the gun and Todd Terry reraises to 900 behind him.  The player on the button calls and McLaughlin calls as well.

The flop comes [Js5d4d] and McLaughlin checks.  Terry bets 1,800, the player on the button folds, and McLaughlin calls.  The turn brings the [Jc] and McLaughlin checks.  "Go ahead," Terry tells the dealer.

The river is the [2h] and McLaughlin checks again.  Terry bets 4,500.  McLaughlin tosses his cards high in the air as he folds and they land face up, showing the table that McLaughlin held [AsKh].

"That’s nuts in this hand," Terry tells him with a grin.  He then turns to tablemate Chris Klodnicki and said, "You would’ve called, right?"

"I would have check-raised for value," Klodnicki deadpans.

"I had you," Terry tells McLaughlin as he turns over [3h6h] for a rivered six-high straight.

Todd Terry – 31,000
Jeremy McLaughlin – 74,000
