Pictured: Menno Mensonides sent home as inevitable bubble on Day 1B
Two players take to the flop as Menno Mensonides and Tonny van Eck lock horns. Mensonides checks to van Eck who bets 18,000 on the all spade flop.
Mensonides then check-raises to 50,000 and van Eck just calls to see the turn. Mensonides pushes his stack of about 160,000 into the middle and van Eck snaps it off, putting Mensonides at risk.
Mensonides turns over his hand, revealing for a flush but it is not enough when van Eck tables , giving him the higher flush.
There is no card to save Mensonides and he begins to stand up as the board completes with the . van Eck scoops the pot and pops the bubble in the process, ending Day 1B.
