Tony G has now taken his seat over on Table 1 and he finds himself with a very workable 26,500 chips, testament to this great blind structure. He wasted no time in getting involved in a hand but unfortunately for him he could not take it down.
He opened to 700 from middle position and found callers in the shape of Armando Graziano (HJ) and Fabio Montanari (BB). The flop came down [3sQd5d], Montanari checked, Tony G bet 1,300 and both of his opponents called.
The three players saw the arrival of the [8s] on the turn, a card that prompted Montanari to lead out with a 3,050 bet. Tony G sat motionless, his face devoid of any emotion but he cou;d not find a call and folded. Graziano made the call and it was to the river.
The dealer put out the [4d] on the river and Montanari lead out again, this time for an increased bet size of 6,025, a bet that was too much for Graziano, who folded.
