Triple Tension

Stanislav Barshak raises to 60,000 in the cutoff, Philip Jacobsen three-bets to 140,000 on the button and then puts on his shades. Emil Olsson looks serious in the big blind, and he makes the four-bet to 310,000. The action falls onto Barshak and he doesn’t look like he wants to fold. He riffles his chips and then puts 505,000 over the line. The action makes Olsson physically squirm uneasily in his seat. Jacobsen aint squirming though. The man just looks like a statue.

"I am all-in," says the Dane.

Olsson pulls a face of anguish, checks his cards and mucks. Barshak’s face is one of anger. He has made a move and it has not come off. He too mucks his hand and the crowd applaud their local hero.
