Two Doubles for John Gilliam

John Gilliam remains in the game after doubling up twice in quick succession after having been knocked down to just 16,000.

First all of that goes in the middle behind versus Hyon Kim’s , and the board comes  — that river nine making Gilliam a better two pair.

Shortly after that Gilliam is up to 54,000 and all in again, this time with  against Grigoriy Shvarts’s . The community cards come , and Gilliam is suddenly back up around 120,000.
