Vince Van Patten Dives Right In

We’ve grown accustomed to seeing Raw Deal host Tony Dunst and Mike Sexton taking part in WPT events this season, but what we don’t often see is Vince Van Patten mixing it up at the tables. Van Patten is in action today though, seated to the right of Hoyt Corkins.

Van Patten wastes no time getting involved in the action either. With around 700 in the pot and the board reading [Qs7c5h], Van Patten checks from the small blind, Anthony Yeh bets 500 from middle position, and Van Patten check-raises to 1,100 total.

Yeh silently reraises to 2,700. Van Patten deliberates for about a minute, then calls. The turn brings the [6s] and Van Patten checks. Yeh bets 5,000. Van Patten gives it some thought, but eventually folds, giving Yeh the pot.
