Lukasz Wasek opens the action with a standard raise, Ammar Naamani calls in position and Raul Paez moves all-in for around 170,000.
Wasek makes the call and then talks to the rail in his native tongue of Polish. Ammar Naamani then tells the table that he has ace-jack, but he knows Wasek has ace-queen because he understood the conversation between Wasek and the rail. He folds his hand.
We then have a showdown between Paez and Wasek.
Showdown
Wasek: As] [Qh]
Paez: [Jc] [8d]
Flop: [Jh] [6c] [3h]
“YES!” Shouts Paez as he takes the lead.
Turn: [Ac]
“YES! YES! YES!” Wasek screams into the face of Paez.
River: [Qh]
The screaming continues until a floorman arrives at the table.
“We don’t mind emotion…but not so much emotion please,” says the floorman.
It’s about this time that Paez starts to complain about what happened earlier in the hand. We are not sure if Paez had only been made aware of it or not, but either way the Tournament Director was called and Wasek was given a one round penalty, for verbally declaring his hand before the action was complete. The hand stood as live.
Wasek ~ 195,000 (and a one round penalty)
